A million reasons to choose Cosmo Ceramics
One of our two new showrooms
On recent visits you may have noticed teams of extremely busy workmen labouring diligently behind the scenes at our Glasgow showroom.

With the wraps now removed and the long wait over, we thought you might like to judge for yourself the fabulous new setting where we invite you to browse at your leisure and choose from, literally, millions of stunning ceramic, stone, slate, porcelain and glass tiles and blocks, as well as stylish garden sculptures and accessories, beautiful bathroom furniture and fittings, shower trays and scene-stealing accessories.

To help you visualise just how luxurious your home can look - without breaking the bank - the new showroom includes a 'showhouse' suite, complete with fully-tiled kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and dining room.

On display you will find everything from sleek bathroom vanity units, mirrors and accessories to funky jewelled accent tiles, glass blocks and Wedi Fundo pre-formed shower trays for the ultimate 'wet room' shower experience. And why not 'test drive' our best-selling 'Devi' underfloor heating system, to experience the ultimate in pampered tootsies on those frosty Scottish winter mornings?

Managing Director Remondo Benacci and Architectural Sales Manager Neil Bennett recently returned from 'Cersaie' in Bologna, one of the world's largest, most prestigious ceramics trade fairs. They've returned brimming with new ideas and their suitcases weighed down with samples of the latest Mediterranean mosaics, as well as natural stone, copper and bronze-effect tiles from top manufacturers, including Fabbrica, Marmi e Graniti, Keraben and Metropol. Even carpet and wood-effect tiles and chic bathroom furnishings from top brand names such as Coycama and Chic & Viva.

Managing Director Remondo Benacci said: "Trends on the continent are now moving towards more environmentally friendly production processes and this theme is also reflected in subtle designs featuring flowers, blades of grass and even butterflies.

"That's not to say that colour has taken a back seat, in fact we saw plenty of sassy mauves and yellows, plus acid greens and vibrant oranges which can be used as design tiles or to create a bold style statement for the really adventurous. Large format tiles continue to feature strongly, with sizes up to two metres across in some cases."

Lots of interesting new tile finishes were on show, driven by the design aspirations of ever more sophisticated customers. Some very interesting new textured finishes to look out for include satin surfaces flecked with shimmering stone chips or shiny specks of quartzite, or very cool, understated matt resin finishes.

"After so many years of minimalist, stripped-back style, the emphasis has definitely switched to reflect a riot of colour, creativity and imagination. With so much choice, our customers really can create a 'made to measure' house that lives up to their expectations and lets them easily express their individuality and creativity. And we think you might just enjoy sending the neighbours scurrying to watch Property Ladder and Grand Designs to try and catch up with your inspired selections!"
